This game has a “permanent” IP Address
which uses the “No IP” host
IP Config - > postnuke.no-ip.biz (is pre-set with download, you shouldn’t
have to adjust this)
4/10/09 – The Time
Machine has been doing something strange lately, and now it has actually opened
up a gateway to the future! But things in the future look strange. Aliens are
controlling way too much of the future city. Investigate this modern Post Nuke world
and discover all about it in the newest Post Nuke Quest ….”Future Destiny”.
12/14/08 – Santa
Claus is coming to town! But he seems to have gotten stuck somewhere….Find
Santa to get your Christmas gift! Its available from Dec 14, 2008 until
January 14, 2009. So be sure and get it while the gettings good! And by
the way….MERRY CHRISTMAS!
12/10/08 – We have
retrieved some documents form the Post Nuke world. It seems a survivors diary
has been recovered! You can read the diary here….Survivors

trying to reconstruct a video that was recovered, wait…what? (hears a voice
from the background) Ok they say you

11/15/08 – We will
soon open a new major quest and area, namely the “Future”! Once you get the
Time Machine functioning fully, you can go 300 years into the future to see if
Mankind survives! I will post as soon as the Future is accessible (working on
Time Bubble now)
10/31/08 – Happy
Halloween! We have made a little
Halloween Event. You need to search around the Metropolis Fallout Shelter and you will find a “Halloween
Pumpkin”, Halloween “Wrapped
Candy”, and also you need to defeat the
Ghost in the Helipad Area and he will
drop the “Halloween Scythe” and the
“Scary Skull spell”. This is a time limited event and you can only get these
items FREE until November 14th,
2008. However, after that you can BUY these items in the
General Shop for a relatively high
price ( not yet decided) So…..Happy Halloween from all of us here at Post Nuke!
9/29/08 – Post Nuke
is back up and running. The Server has been down intermittently due to an odd
software bug, but the computer shop cannot totally fix the bug so I will deal
with it until I buy a new computer. In the meantime Post Nuke runs good most of
the time. I have released a new
Quest…”Police Cadet”. It is an
interesting and long quest that leads you through Police Training and even some
new lands until you finally earn your badge.
9/18/08 – Post Nuke
may be down this weekend (Sept. 19 – 20, 2008) due to a need for computer
repairs to the Host Server. It should be back up on Monday Sept. 21rst, 2008.
So if you go to log in and the game is “Offline” don’t be surprised! But the good news is we will launch a new
quest….”Police Cadet” on Monday, and it’s a very well developed quest with many
interesting maps to explore and a great theme throughout. So be patient and
I’ll do my best to keep Post Nuke going next week!
8/23/2008 – The past
few days have been rough on Post Nuke due to the Tropical Storm Fay which has
been causing surges, power outages, and cable and phone outages in Florida (
which is where the Post Nuke Server is) The server went down for a few days a
couple times due to this huge slow moving storm. But now it is past and I should
be able to have the server up 24/7 again for a long time. Enjoy the game and

8/05/2008 – In north China
there’s a huge Monastery full of monks who survived the Nuclear War. One of
them is a bit stubborn and has been exploring in dangerous and hidden places.
Help him out and discover the Treasures of Tibet in the huge underground
Temple. A New Mystic Staff and a new Spell are the rewards for…”The Stubborn
Monk”
7/30/2008 – The
spiritual side of Post Nuke has to be addressed. Visit the burning church in
north west Metropolis and talk to the priest to learn about a super powerful
holy sword, and be ready to fight the devil himself! Put up your spiritual
guard and do the “Soul Sword” quest.
6/30/2008 – Visit
Japan to do the short and rewarding “Nippon Mansion” quest. Beware of the guard
dogs! Avoid the gaze of the unforgiving guards who will toss you out as soon as
they spot you!
5/30/2008 – In the
fallout shelter a secret Computer bunker can be uncovered. Explore it at your
own risk for it is very dangerous! This short quest has a great reward, the
powerful “Bolt Gun” So try and complete this dangerous computer related
quest……”Cyber Paranoids”!
5/17/2008 – If you
wander around North West Metropolis you’ll notice the ruins of a huge brown
building. Go into the basement to explore the inner room which is an old
Quantum Physics lab containing…A Time Machine!! Find the circuits to repair the
Time Machine and you can actually travel back in time to before the Nuclear
War! You can explore cool places and get unique rewards! So get on Post Nuke
and do the quest “The Time Machine”
5/9/2008 – There’s a new
quest! Its called “Hoverpods in Space” and it actually allows you to explore
the deep reaches of space, and even access the Alien Mothership! Explore the
new land of Nordica to begin this quest.
4/29/2008 – The latest version of Post Nuke is released! It has
additional graphics of Ice cities, a new Robot Boss, as well as new Chinese
sprites, and some awesome ancient ruins.
It also has a new improved shop that now sells food as well as Jewelry!
Be sure and download the new version (see download link above) because the old
one will NOT work. The game has been updated with new graphics and new
features! The new download is released April 29, 2008 and no other previous
Clients will work. So....you must download Post Nuke again! But, don't worry,
all the accounts are intact and waiting for you to log back in! Post Nuke is
still a FREE 2D game you can download and enjoy.
What is Post Nuke? Post Nuke is a FREE 2 D game built on the Eclipse
game engine. It has the ability to host several players at a time so you can
meet people in the game from all over the world. It is run using the flash
program so you might need to get some of the OCX files needed to run it (see
Troubleshooting if you get a message saying you are missing any other files)
My friend Vwing has sent me a
list of the flash files that his comp was missing, which he had to download in
order to play the game. This is a quick list of the needed files to get you to
be able to log on and play the game….
First

The reason I put all this info here is
because the game is run on a special Active X Flash Program and unless you’ve
played Eclipse, Playerworlds, or Elysium games before, the game simply will be
missing the needed files to run it.
Post Nuke is made using the Eclipse Gaming Engine.
It is a Royal Noobs Clan Production,
and many people have reported it is a very interesting and fun game! You
can even learn vital real world facts about Nuclear War and
radioactive fallout. I hope you enjoy playing it!
The worst imaginable thing
has happened! The world for unknown reasons has had an all out Nuclear War. A
few people managed to survive below ground.
We have learned a bitter lesson, never to use Nuclear Weapons, or any
other world destroying weapon again. Now the challenge is to survive. But the
world is not a friendly place anymore. The food supplies has dwindled to nearly
nothing. The landscape is barren. The animals have mutated. There is one
question now....Are you a survivor?
Start out in the
Fallout Shelter. Learn from other
survivors and information signs. Start a “Storage Account” to store all your
stuff you don’t want to carry with you. Venture above ground to the Nuclear
wasteland when you've learned all you need to know.
Explore the ruins of
cities of Earth. Kill mutated survivors and animals. Fish for food or mine to
get money. Perform quests. Gather armor, weapons and items to help you survive!
Explore new
territories and learn new secrets. A small innocent cave might lead to a huge
underground alien base with a teleport to a Galactic Mothership!
Save up your money and
buy a "Player Owned Condo"! A safe place with no monsters, no
radiation, a bed that heals, a bank, and a great place to have your friends
gather!
